Writing Group
     An all woman writing group meets with me on the first Saturday of every month from ll:00 am to 1:00 pm. The format of the group consist of one member reading her work and the others comment and provide support. There is usually time for a  discussion of writing techniques. If you'd like to join or want more information please contact me.  A light lunch follows the meeting.
 
Introduction to Memoir Writing  Next scheduled workshop on:

      Hercules Public Library, 109 Civic Drive, Hercules, CA.
 
     A two-hour workshop to introduce the novice to writing a memoir. Examples of  topics presented and discussed are:
 
     --What is a memoir?
     --Why it is important to write your story.
     --Themes in memoir writing.
     --Techniques for remembering your life.
     --The narrative voice.
     --Basics on writing well.
     --Recommended list of memoirs.
